 Xbox Live Director of Programming Larry Hryb made the announcement this morning through his Major Nelson blog. "This is an important update as we continually strive to improve our products and we could not do so without the help of our great Xbox community," Hryb wrote. "As part of the preview program, you will receive a copy of Halo: Reach along with other possible rewards."
 The 3DS has barely been out for two days in North America and users are already reporting crashing issues.  Electronic Arts today announced it is all eliminating paper game manuals and reducing printed materials in its packaged products by 40 percent. The publisher says this initiative will apply to all PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC games worldwide going forward.
 EA is tweaking its cover athlete selection process once again for Madden NFL 12. Today, the publisher announced it would let fans once again vote for the cover and unveiled a 32-man tournament bracket with one representative for each team in the league. Over five rounds--each lasting a week--fans will whittle down the field until only one option remains.

 Bioware confirmed that there's one more piece of downloadable content coming for Mass Effect 2. Dubbed "Arrival," we don't know much about the new missions aside from some leaked Trophy descriptions. One theory is that the content has something to do with the Reapers arriving from dark space and will help bridge the gap between Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3, which is scheduled to release this fall.  Dragon Age: Legends isn't like other Facebook titles because it's an actual game. You can catch up on the basics of Dragon Age: Legends here, but the gist is that you play as a mage, warrior or rogue and participate in turn-based battles. You also get to build a bitchin' castle.
